Terms & Conditions

Our terms and conditions relate to services provided by Joet African Market. Please read all of our terms and conditions of use carefully. By using, visiting or browsing The Joet website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of use. Therefore, it is essential that before using our website, you agree and accept that we are not legally reliable for any loss or damage that you may suffer related to the use of our website.

Orders

Your order will send a message to us and we will assist in a timely manner to get you the cheapest quote for your delivery cost. Once accepted then we will proceed with payments and subsequent shipping. This is a temporary measure whilst the direct shipping quoting system is been organise.

Pre-orders Terms & Conditions

  • Pre-order sales are final and cannot be cancelled or modified
  • If you wish to get your in-stock items now, you must place two separate orders. One for your pre-order items and another for your in-stock items
  • If you are purchasing pre-order items and in-stock items together, your order will be held until pre-order items arrive
  • You will be required to make full payment on pre-order items (including the shipping fee)
  • If you are ordering custom labels with your pre-order items, please bear in mind the labels will be processed after the pre-order items arrive and will delay your delivery by another 5 days for processing time.

Delivery

The delivery time is indicative and is therefore not guaranteed. However, the final delivery time will not exceed more than one week of the indicated delivery time, excepting cases of ‘force Majeure. The order will be processed and shipped within five working days of receiving payment and up to 7 working days for orders including custom labels. If the order cannot be received, the courier will send a notification email with the reason why and or call to arrange a suitable redelivery date and time with the customer. Joet African Market cannot be held responsible if the Courier cannot deliver the order to the customer on time.

Suppose a package can’t be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address. In that case, The Joet African Market is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur to reroute or reship the package, so please double-check your address before finalising your order.

Refunds & Exchanges

You should choose your purchases carefully as we do not offer exchanges if you change your mind. In the unlikely event that your goods arrive faulty, please contact us as soon as you receive your order (no later than 5 business days). Please ensure you provide your full name, preferred contact details, order number, description of the item and the fault, and any images of the faulty item(s) to info@joetafricanmarket.com.au. We will assess the item and either provide a refund or replacement. If we cannot resolve your complaint or further assist you, we will process a refund upon timely receipt of the goods purchased. Refunds will be processed promptly. All refunds are made at our discretion.
